In the late 1990's, downtown L. a. was a blighted put. The town was an eyesore with fifty percent empty industrial properties and places of work which were about the breaking point. The corporate downsizing that came about at that time led to enormous relocation, while using the end result that no-one appreciated to stay on in LA, particularly after dark.
